JTR Presents is hosting a workshop between the community and artists to use art and design as a platform for the Trans community. This is part of the Transparency project, a statewide initiative focused on elevating the voices and stories of members in the Trans community using the work of artists and designers.
This workshop will be facilitated by co-curator and artist Jordan T. Robinson, who wishes to use art and design to help people and culture. Through this project, Robinson seeks to have the Trans community "Tell us who they are in their own voice and light." and is providing a space for a community forum and call for collaboration through a series of workshops throughout the summer, followed by an exhibition in the state's capital.
More information can be found at https://jtrpresents.art or by contacting us at jtrpresents@gmail.com.
All interested in the project are welcomed to participate.
Special Thanks to Greenhill NC for sponsoring the space for the workshop through their program, Open Studio, which offers their spaces for local artists and creative professionals to create and host programming to help the community.
